Ed Kuehn
Our designer and collaborator, Ed Kuehn, is a graphic designer and illustrator from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His passion for art, music, and observing the world around him have shaped his vision for creating art and storytelling. This vision is the same vehicle that has brought him to meet his good friend Brent Caltagirone and began the construction of this collective. His designs and illustrations provide a visual voice and resonance with what Deciduous stands for, while providing an outlet for his thoughts and concepts on how he perceives the world and his own existence. Ed and Brent have worked side by side for many years to create many forms of art, but if you ask them, they will say that they are just getting started... There are many more stories to tell.
Deciduous/ Schaylor’s current collaboration- Deciduous BLACK
Deciduous and Schaylor Brewing Company have partnered yet again to bring you another unique beer. Deciduous seeks out local businesses and purveyors who take pride in their craft to collaborate with and create new experiences that are made with integrity and intent. This collaboration allows Schaylor to create and explore brewing styles that are overlooked by most of the craft beer industry as fads have taken over the market. Deciduous Black is a Smōked Black Czech Lager that uses cherry wood smoked malt to deliver complex notes that are earthy, dry, and roasted alongside flavors of toffee, caramel, and dark chocolate. With a light mouthfeel and touch of smoked cherry wood on the back end, this collaboration is perfect for warming the soul on these cold winter nights.
